In life, we all go through a pruning process. God will prune our lives so that we can bear much fruit. To “prune” means something is cut away, something is removed. In other words, maybe a good friend that you counted on moved to another city. Maybe a business shut down that you were connected to, or a relationship went a different direction.
Friend, God knows what you need in your life in order to grow and flourish. Sometimes when things happen that we don’t understand, we have to just trust that He is working behind the scenes preparing you for increase, preparing you to go to another level. Don’t put a question mark where God has placed a period.

When you’re going through transition, don’t get bitter. Don’t get down and think it’s the end. Don’t start thinking that you’re a failure. Have the attitude, “God, I let this go knowing that it was only temporary provision, and what You have in my future will be greater than what I’m letting go of.” If you will accept the change and stay in faith, God will open new doors. He will bring new opportunities, new friendships, and take you to another level of His glory!

Okay, this is kind of silly. I doubt that anyone will find her through this post on tumblr, but it’s the only place I haven’t invaded with my “lost posters.” Therefore, in a matter of desperation, I decided to open this.

Let me explain to you how important this cat is to me. As many of my followers know, I am a schizophrenic who isn’t taking medicine. I hear voices that aren’t there, I see things that aren’t there. My disposition is a distant one, I’m antisocial, my personal hygiene is something I don’t care about, and I honestly don’t give a shit about what people think of me or what happens to me. This cat, Ritsuka, came into my life a year ago after my step-dad found her mother dead beside a kitten (which was my aforementioned lost cat). We took the cat in as a family member a few weeks after our very old cat, Korean, passed away from kidney stones (we couldn’t afford the immediate $4,000 payment). Korean was a special cat to me, but he wasn’t my cat. In comes this black kitten who runs to me. I sat with it, entranced, and bonded with it for hours. Ever since then, my cat has grown with me. She sleeps on a black pillow next to mine. She answers to a specific call that I have given her.

Though, the best part about her was the way she seemed to battle off hallucinations. Every time I’m with her, they fizz from existence - because I have something that I legitimately care about and to pay attention to. Last year, actually, the voices told me “kill yourself, kill yourself.” They wouldn’t stop. Out of impulse, I probably would have done it. But when I found a ‘cure,’ I didn’t find need for medication or self-harm. So I’ve never done it.

The cat is gone now. My heart is shattered. I refuse medication. I want my cat back.

A Fancy rat is a domesticated version of the Brown rat. It is named a ‘fancy’ rat because the name derives from the idea of ‘animal fancy’ - to like or appreciate. They are bred with different shapes and psychology to wild rats, posing no more a health risk then any other domesticated pet.

Fancy rats are trainable and with the right technique you can train them to both do tricks and use a litter or toilet box.

There are a few variations of fancy rat, including the Manx, Dumbo and hairless rat.

Fancy rats - like all rats - do best with a companion and a big, open cage with plenty to do and chew on. They can eat many foods, though there are a few ‘no-no’ foods that should be looked up before considering getting pet rats.

This is so true. Which is closer to how our world is? What are we heading towards? Sometimes you have to put down your pride and relise that you are not the most important creature alive and that there are alternatives to the way we eat. Murder is never the answer - not for a meal and not for fun.

Uh, using animals for food is not what led to building cities, or new technologies, a few of which have turned blue skies grey and brown with smog.

is probably one of my biggest pet peeves besides carseat safety. I love babywearing and HATE when I see moms wearing their babies facing out,dangling by their crotch. Or wearing them way too low or loose. It irks me and makes my heart almost stop because it’s so unsafe and unhealthy.
