Everyone says you shouldn’t judge someone by how they dress. When women say “don’t call me a slut because I dress like one!” Which I don’t understand. If you aren’t a slut, don’t dress like one. Or how everyone views what a slut looks like. It’s like, why would I go around wearing scrubs if I’m not a nurse or a doctor. But you would probably think I’m one if I was dressed like that. So if I’m dressed as a doctor would dress, you’ll assume I’m a doctor. If you’re dressed like how a slut would dress, I’m going to assume you’re a slut. Now I know all sluts don’t dress in short skirts or what ever. But a lot do.
Lol. I’m not a nurse or a doctor, but I wear scrubs…
I’m also a huge slut bag, and I wear mostly modest clothes.
Eat that, asshole.
Your logic is null, and you are a misogynistic douchebag.
I believe that people should wear what they want and be comfortable with that. So if you like wearing low-cut tops or short skirts, then go ahead, have fun! Be okay with yourself in what you like wearing.
I also believe that people should be aware of what their clothes say about them, and be comfortable with that image. So the girl in the photo is comfortable with wearing what she’s wearing, and she’s also okay with calling herself a slut, and there’s nothing wrong with that. If you go around wearing tailored suits, you’re going to come across as a business person. If you wear sweats, you’re going to look like someone who dresses either for comfort or exercise (depending on what else you’re wearing). People are going to judge you based on how you look, and unless you can honestly say that you’ve never done that, you’re going to have to get used to it.
However, I do believe that, as a whole, society needs to erase some words from it’s vocabulary. The current meaning of the word “slut” is demeaning to the woman you label that with. Instead of judging someone as a slut, why not see how she’s comfortable with her body and proud of it?
